Thanked: 9carborundum hones
I found a few carborundum hones on ebay, any idea what their two grit's are? I'll probably have to lap them, but luckily there is an excellent tutorial on lapping here!

Thanked: 0I have one old carborundum #138.
Try to search in the forum for threads, there's a lot of info regarding carborundums. This one for example:

I have used mine a couple of times and I actually managed to remove a big chip in the blade so it is a quite fast hone. It's possible to shave with the razor after honig and stropping...but you probably want to use a finer grit aswell, I use a Arkansas Black.
Nice looking hones by the way!
