    Default What is this hone?

    I was given this hone. It is supposed to have come from a barber shop in the early fifties. As you can see, it is in rough shape. I have lapped the top and bottom. Smooth texture, softer stone. It develops a slurry using just a razor.
    Can anyone offer some information as to what this might be?
