    Default Practice razors

    Hi all,

I just got a Norton 4K/8K and I've never honed before. I was looking on E-Bay at a few cheepie razors to practice with first so I don't mess up my expensive TI. There are some as low as $10.

Any advise on what to get or avoid in a practice blade?

I am looking for a practice blade as well. The best advice I can give you is look for a blade that is similar in size, ground, width and point to the blade you will be honing, that way you can get a feel for it. Also, make sure you get something that will take an edge so you can gauge your progress, dont get a Zeepk is what I am saying LOL. Good luck! My Norton will be here anyday as well.
