Default The smaller Chinese 12K. They're Nice!

Anyone use the smaller 8x2x1 Chineses12K? I picked one up about a month ago. They're really nice because they fit so well in the hand, unlike the larger one that seems to only work right when used on a bench or tabletop. Now if Norton would only slim down their big 8X3's. I think my larger 12k will be relegated to "kitchen" duty. Not for lack of accomplishment, but rather it seems better equiped to touch up the larger cutlery. Boy, now that I've finally got down the one handed honing technique, I can hone right at the sink. No need to sit at a table and cover everything up to protect from water. Well, it only took me a year!

I like an 8x2 stone also. I think Norton does make that size...

Where did you find the smaller Chinese?

That's the size I bought. I prefer 1.5" - 2" hones to the wider ones. The fact that the narrow one was only $20 is just a bonus.
