Warped Razors
Gee now that I have been at this for 7 months, I am beginning to see a lot of interesting things.
One of them is warped razors. Filly's, Holler, Wade and Butcher, all kinds of warped razors, and razors with funny grinds, etc.
Must be fairly common...eh?
So is this something I should just take in stride? Just something to be expected with razors, no matter the manufacture?
I'd be interested in other's opinions!

Thanked: 369In nearly 30 years using a straight razor I've never come across a warped razor. Granted, I don't buy razors much. But reading posts on SRP, I get the impression that they are very common. Guess I've just been lucky.

Thanked: 3795I have encountered lots of warped razors. For that reason, I have lots of narrow hones, including a set of 4 narrow norton hones. They are much easier to accommodate warped blades.
