Hand american supply chronium oxide in dry form and liquid do i need the liquid or dry form? can any one let me no thanxs gary

Mine is the powder, and I like it just fine. I can control the amount that I put into the mixture. I can use strop conditioner to apply it to leather or water when I'm pasting linen.
The liquid would be a little bit more convenient, though.

Thanked: 286Josh i have spoken to hand american he says they don't do the paste no more so i have orderd the powder to reaply to my tony miller paddle over the original chronium that was all ready pasted when i purchased.How do i apply do i just rub the powder straight in on top of original or clean first, you say you can controll the amount you put into mixture does that mean you mix powder with some kind of salution could you let me no please thanxs very much gary.

Gary,
You can just apply the new stuff over the old stuff. I mix mine with strop dressing before I apply it. Here's a little tutorial I did on the subject...
