    red dovo=2-4 microns
    black dovo=1 micron

Diamond pastes put increible sharp in razor in seconds.
Dovo pastes in hores, is not compare
After honing in my coticule I use diamond pastes "20 strokes in 1 micron and 20 strokes in .5 micron"

For manteinance Dovo red and green chromiun .5 "3 or 4 strokes".

Thanxs for that replie. I have a paddle from tony with 1.0 0.5 diamond paste a .5 chromiune oxide. when i finished on my 12 k i finish on the chromiune as a last polish only just got the paddle and have not tryed the diamond paste yet but must say what a diferance the chr makes am i doing right by finishing on the chr.i was thinking of finishing on the 12k kitiyama after my norton combo and then may be 1.0 0.5 and then .5 chr and then a final strop. i thought the chr was the finest grit out of the three.? cheers gary carn't get in touch with tony as he is on vaccation. that why i have posted this topic

Great information here - I know I surely didn't know that before I started - Classic Shaving's description is a little vague (probably provided by Dovo though).

I also know that JoshEarl provided a great sticky on how to paste a strop, but that seams to be a liquid or semi-liquid paste - does anybody know how to apply this crayon like substance? Now that I have my TM strop, I want to dedicate my old Dovo strop for pastes.

    Thanks!
