Thread: Hand American Chrome Oxide

Hi everyone - new member from the UK here, but I have been lurking about the forum for while!

I have a small problem that maybe some of you in the US might be able to advise me on.

Some time ago I ordered the green chromium oxide paste from Hand American - after reading about it here! I made a PayPal payment, and expected to make another payment for the shipping cost, like it says on the website.

No contact for a few days, so on the 3rd or 4th day I sent an email to the "custserv..." email address quoted on the PayPal receipt - it was returned the next day as address unknow.

So - back to the website, where I found another email address "kd@...." so I emailed to query the order status and the shipping costs.

3 days after that last email I haven't received a reply - but the email hasn't bounced back either!

So, my query is whether any of you know if they are on vacation or something like that. I'm not too worried, it's just that I would like to try the stuff asap.

did you try calling them they are on eastern standard time phone # (610) 845-1017 good luck with your purchase i have not heard anything negative about them

Hi - no, I haven't tried phoning them - yet. I thought it would be easy enough for them to reply to an email, seeing as they have already taken the order. No doubt they are just a bit behind. I can always get PayPal to reverse the transaction.

Chris L has kindly sorted me out for the time being, though - great guy!

Just a quick note to say a big "thank you" to ChrisL who so kindly offered to send me some chrome oxide at a knockout price! It arrived today, complete with instructions and diagrams for use - very professional, fast and courteous - Chris, you are a gentleman!
