    Default Where can i get one in town

    I am getting my first str8 razor in the mail in a day or two and I need to get a hone..... I think, but I don't want to wait to order one. where can i go to get one?
    what should I get, i am simplistic and not to mention cheap.

    What town are you in? A lot of members recommend the Norton 4k/8k for starters. If there is a Woodcraft store in your area, carry most hones talked about in the forums. You can find better deals on the internet , but if you are in a rush Woodcraft wi work. I hope this helps. Good luck

    Lee Valley or Rockler are other options. Both are good retailers. You will probably pay a lot more to buy it locally, even with shipping prices.

    +1 on Woodcraft. They carry the full line of Nortons plus the Chinese 12K; in other words everything you need if that's the route you want to go.
