    Default Norton 2"x8" 4K/8K Combo

I can't seem to find the 2"x8" 4K/8K combo stone. Does anyone know if they make this size anymore? Thanks

I looked all over last year for one and could not find one anywhere. My guess is that they discontinued this size because most people wanted the 8X3. Occasionally they come up used, or you can just cut the 8X3 in half or to any size that you want. I know that Randy did this to one of his Norton 4K/8K stones but I don't remember what he said he used for the job.

The best way would be to find a stone cutter to do it for you, because that would give you the best results.
But a band saw or even a hacksaw would work without too much problems. You just have to be more careful to not damage your stone.
