Group Buy on Shapton gs at
I was crusing the different sites i look at and came across a group buy offering a 10% discount on Shapton glass stones, Possible 20% with enough participation, so here i am posting this, The guy that is getting this together is dave from D&R Sharpening on knifeforums site here is a link

Thanked: 150Yeah, I've been watching that thread, seems like a good deal but I just don't have a need for more stones in the same grit ranges that I already have covered. I'd probably jump on board if the 20% mark is reached.

I took it as a joke. I think a group buy is a good idea. The only stone I don't have yet on the glass stones is the 30K, and I'm on the fence about getting it.
Craftsman Studio, AFAIK is still offering free shipping on Shapton glass stones. With the 20% group buy, I assume there would be shipping? Factoring that in, there would be an actual savings on less then I would assume.
IF we would get 20% and the shipping wouldn't negate any savings, pencil me in for the 30K. That beating heart under the floorboards has driven me mad for long enough!!! ;-)

And here I just ordered a 1k, 4k, 8k and 16k shapton a few days ago! Guess I just missed it, I didn't think they were too expensive though, was like $300 shipped for all the stones. Hope you guys get a good discount
