Thanked: 174German Natural Hones.
I recently purchased two new hones from Germany.
MST - Müller** Schleiftechnik look under new product.
He sells two types. One is a finer quality than the other. The fine quality is green/grey in colour. Mine measures 5" x 2.5" x .75".
The other is grey/black in colour and measures 10" x 3" x .75". A big hone.
I also have a small belgian coticule that is salmon pink/cream in colour.
I've read many descriptions of these types of hone and I don't intend to repeat the excellent descriptions in the review section but I thought I would show you some photographs that I took with my new toy a 200 times digital microscope.
You can make up your own minds as to which one you may prefer. I think they are all good and the big black hone is incredible value for money.
First the surface of the grey black hone magnified 200 times
Second the surface of the green grey hone
Third the surface of my coticule
