    Default I am becoming a hone-collecting junkie

It started with Tilly's 3-hone set. Then I hears she was getting low on stock but had some cushioned strop hones left, so I said "What the hell, they're cheap and irreplaceable, I'll by a spare." I've also always wanted to try a Swaty hone, but every one I bid on got swiped out from underneath me. Then I saw two go up, auctions ending at almost exactly the same time, so I bid on both, figuring maybe I'll get lucky and win one. Well, I won both. So now I'm up to 6 hones. Is there such a thing as compulsive hone-collecting disorder?

Collecting barber hones isn't a disorder, it's a hobby. Yes?

When it isn't the item but the "action" then you have a problem.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Well said. I, Chris L am a HADdict. Moreso than a RADdict or a SADdict (soap), CRADdict (cream) and finally a STRADdict (strops).

Stick to barber hone collecting. I don't need another full blown HADdict jockeying to snatch Ebay stones from me! I should talk, I won a vintage coticule non-natural combo and two Swatyesque barber hones earlier this week. I already have a 3 line that I won't sell, but I'm going to lap about 4 barber hones I also have and put them on the Bay pretty soon.

As soon as I hear back from So, I'll probably drain my Paypal account and become a JNatddict (Japanese Natural Stone)!!
