Default Would this be an Escher?

Yesterday I got this hone in from a Dutch auction site. In the middle of the lable is a little shield with a goblet and underneath 2 crossed hammers. In the goblet you can just read: E & Co if you use a magnifying glass. It looks like a dark grey blue Escher, do you reckon it is one?

    I thought E&Co is Escher.

I agree - it's an Escher in my book.

Bet it is. Nice score. Give it a lapping and see how the slurry looks and how hard or soft it is.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
