    Default spine

    If a bevel does'nt quite sit flat on the hone could this be because the spine is a little out of level through either uneaven honing or wear and if so how can i correct the problem?.

    Could be or it could have been made that way. Many old Sheffields are. Here is a thread that deals with the remedy.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
