Thread: A Old Dog can learn new tricks

I thank all who replied to my thread 'Can a Razor be too Sharp'

As previously mentioned I have been going along using a razor for over 40 years and have never previously had anyone to bounce ideas off that had even the remotest clue as to what I was on about. Most people thought I was a bit eccentric in using a razor - which really did suit me.

I did not find it difficult to bring the razor up to a new level of sharpness and after reading all the replies, I believed my technique was wrong considering this new level of sharpness.

Have now eased back on the amount of pressure applied to the razor, no nicks, and still a good shave.

I now would change my view, in that the razor was not too sharp, but my technique was not quite right.

So you see some of us old dogs can learn new tricks
