Default 0.25 Diamond Paste -- where to buy?

I picked one of these up. Like the Illinois 827 I posted about in the strops forum, this one is another bargain, $25 less than from other retailers. Nice and handy, with one side pasted with CrO.

I want to paste the other with 0.25. Where is a good, inexpensive, reliable source for just a small quantity (the strop is pretty small)?

I think you probably can't buy it in quantities that are not way more than is needed for the strop. But machinist supply catalogs or lappidary supply stores would be cheaper than anywhere that stells it to the knife and razor market.

At work I noticed it was about 1/3 less at mcmaster-carr(the machining catalog company we order from) than from classic shaving.

Of course you probably can't find anything else there that would be useful for straight razors, other than say making them

McMaster Carr is outstanding. Shipping is immediate if its in stock. I have also tried the CrOx lapping compound that they sell and its outstanding.(don't buy the 1/2 pint size though). I also purchased their .5 micron diamond paste-although many here prefer the Amplex brand-the industrial brand works well.McMaster-Carr

Thanks for the replies. I came across these, and placed an order from Ted Pella. We'll see how it works.
