Thread: Where can I buy Diamond Pastes?

Hello Everyone!

I am looking to buy some diamond pastes (3 - .25 micro) and some .5 green chromide. Where do I go to find them and get the best price?

Most of the shaving supply stores carry diamond paste or you can Google it and get more hits than you could read in a lifetime. The Chromium Oxide is a little harder to find but I think someone is still selling it in the SRP classifieds.

A friend who sharpens knifes swears by the Italdo diamond spray...but then he's insane because he goes all the way to .1 micron which by my standards is overkill for a knife.

I've made several purchases from classicshaving.com. I know they have Amplex diamond pastes, the 9, 1, 0.5, and 0.25 micron pastes. The service at classicshaving is awesome, so you should definitely check out the site. The chromium oxide, like AusTexShaver said, is a little harder to come by. I bought my packs from ChrisL from the classifieds here on SRP. It was pretty cheap, and you get a bunch. Hope you find what you are looking for!
