Thread: My Meager Barber Hone Collection !!

These are some that I have been collecting the Dubl Duck, Shumate, and the Cattaraugus I picked up because I also collect those razors, the others have just made their way to me in lots of razors I have purchased.... I am still hunting a C-MON, Beau Brummel, and a Hess hone ya never know I might get lucky

Dubl Duck 2 sided dry hone: (fine/medium)



Shumate Razor Hone/strop: (I just replaced the leather)



Cattaraugus Razor hone: (very fine)



Franz Swaty Razor Hone: (fine)



Howard Combination Loom Strop:

Nice! Did you get that Howard combo loom in the last 4 months? I seem to remember being outbid on one just like that.

I did but not off of E-bay, my neighbor (Cat28 on here) found it and the Swaty with 15 razors and we bought the whole mess...
If ya really want it send me a PM, I am not attached to it, and it is in pretty darn good shape....

Those are cool. I've got a long and regular Swaty, a Pike Krystolo and the same Dubl Duck dry hone. I have been resisting buying any more since there are so darn many and I probably won't use them. I have so many regular stones now anything else is sort of redundant. That is the collecting disease though, never enough.
