    Default Honing a framback...

I've never used one (though I've got my eye on a set at the local antique store). I was just wondering if there were any different techniques that one uses to hone them?

I've had a few framebacks, and a few concave grinds as well. Just hone them as you would any other razor. You might have to do a bit of a rolling stroke, since many tend to be narrower at the heal.

definite rolling stroke. use the edge of the stone, it's easier.
