chips
im a n00b with a hone i just got my stones 2 days ago but have honed 2 razors that now shave great
.
but i have a morley clover brand that in has two small chips on the edge, one about 1/4 down from the toe and one about 3/4 from the toe.
It wont even cut a hair how would i look to hone these chips out and get her shave ready? i have a shapton 4000 and 8000 and also have diamond spray

from my understanding, without seeing an image, you'd probably want to get a 1k hone, cut it right back/put a new bevel etc, then go to the 4k/8k, but i could be wrong ..
