Success! I think..
I think I might have just honed my razor properly!
I first used some 3M 1000 grit w/d sandpaper followed by some 2000 grit sandpaper..
I then moved on to the 8k side of the norton and after some yellow coticule with water...newspaper strop and then leather strop.
I did the right part of my face and it felt pretty darn good!!

It feels great! The razor felt even better than when I got it 'shave ready' from a member! I was having a pretty awesome shave until my gf knocked on the door and made me jump which resulted in a pretty nasty cut under my chin hehe! I just can't wait to get the rest of my stuff... I've been waiting for 5 weeks now for a proper strop and two more razors. I also recently ordered a Dovo Tortoise...I'm anxious to see the difference between the reynolds and the dovo.
