    Default Help with hone identity/history

I have recently traded for a hone that came to me from France. The name on the sticker ont he hone is "La Lune" " Double Face" (Extra Extra) Pierre a Rasior.

Some of this I understand from long ago french courses and the use of the trusty french-english dictionary.

But I would like to know if this hone is a belgian hone that was sold in France. What age the hone could be. and if I should use this hone like a coticule. This hone looks like the pictures of coticules I have seen. It comes with a slurry stone and is in a small orange cardboard box top with natural colored cordboard bottom box. Hone and slurry stone both fit in the box. both the hone and slurry stone are in excellent shape.

    stone measures 52mm wide x 137mm long x 23mm thick. slurry stone is 52mm x 24mm x 21mm.

The only information I have been able tofind via search engine also links to ardennes coticule, not sure if all of that is correct so here I am.

    Thanks in advance.
