Shapton 16k from Straight Razor Designs
Just picked up a Shapton 16k from Straight razor designs and looking forward to it! Craftsman Studio has it for $100 and free shipping, whereas SRD has it for 97.50 or so and five bucks shipping. So, it ends up costing 3 bucks and some change more with SRD, but it helps keep the cash in the "local" economy, and I usually like to support that kind of stuff. It helps the guys who pay the bills for SRP pay their bills, so if it's gotta go somewhere might as well be these great guys!
Be on the lookout for a chinese 12k in the classifieds soon!

Personally, with differences in price as small as 5usd, I let factors such as homepage user friendliness, shipping company(-y +ies) used and my general perception of their customer service decide where to buy.
So I reckon I'm of the same opinion as you.
