Thread: Ardennes Coticule - simply awesome!

I posted earlier about a problem with my stone, and Rob from Ardennes Coticule offered to exchange it for a new one.

It was only a small chip, but on attempting to lightly sand it out, it grew along the line/crack/fault or whatever, so I decided to send it back.

I thought that if I ordered a BBW at the same time, I could pay postage for that and it would cover the postage for the Coticule as well, saving AC some money, but Rob wouldn't have it, and told me to pick my stone and email him directly to sort out the order of the BBW and he would cover the postage for both! Also, I was going to be away from Christmas to new year, and Rob said no problem, let me know when you get back and I will send it on then.

He emailed me at every step to let me know what was going on, and today I received a beautiful flawless coticule bout and a great BBW, super well wrapped.

So to sum up, dealing with Rob and Ardennes Coticule has been the best customer service I have ever experienced, and I would heartily recommend using them.

Great to hear but not surpising. Anytime i have PM'd them i have always heard back, even during Christmas week, with a detailed answer.

Ardennes (Celis) and Howard Schecter (Perfect Edge) are all the best .

A year or two ago I wanted a special measurement cut 2 1/2 x4. I requested standard grade slate back. What I recieved was a Kosher Natural! I recieved it through Howard and cut by Ardennes. I believe it was Maurice that personally cut it.

What first arrived through Howard was a 2 1/2 x 6. He told me of the mistake in size. I asked for a pic. It also was a Kosher Natural combo. I had to have both stones. They are both excellent. Before and after that specific transaction I have purchased stones from Howard. Every time my service has been excellent.

Ardennes Coticule (Both Celis Rob, Maurice and Howard of PEdge ) are the cream of the crop vendor/suppliers.

I ordered a coticule and BBW from them as well, and was very pleased. They also put some really cool stamps on the package. Maybe this is your UPS man?
