Thanked: 101Japanese Stone
I saw a Japanese Hone at a Korean Market today. It said Home Stone on it and was made by the King Hone Co. It looked to be well made. It was manmade though. Was it worthy of purchase? It was 14 bucks.

Thanked: 2209It depends on the grit size. Anything less than 1000 grit has almost no use for straight razors ( with a few exceptions). But there are other hones that are much more suitable but cost more.

If it's the K-45 Home stone, it's only 800 grit.
