    Default Help with grit on new hones

    Well folks I got my new hones but the dumb question now that I have them is what grit are they. I know the Keen Kutter combo is supposed to take care of all the honing needs but I have no idea what grit they made them. The Swaty is the chocolate color one and the same question.
    If anyone knows what the grits are please let me know:-)

    I found a post on the forum from a previous member that indicated the Swaty is a finishing stone that is about 12,000---correct?
