Congratulations Dave. Be careful though, chasing that feeling can lead to RAD.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thank you all for the kind words.
Just as an update: remember how I said I got a few razors back that I just had re-scaled? Well none of the 3 were honed at all, and my initial post was about my successful honing of the first one. Well today I just went through the exact process and got an amazing shave off of my second that was kitchen-knife dull only a few hours ago! It was a nice 5/8" ERN round-point, and it honed up nicely. Just took my time, and it took about an hour and a half from start to finish. Shaved nicely, so I'm pleased.
I must be doing something right!

Congrats mate, I know just how you feel, I got the same kick when I noticed that the new Dovo I honed on a coticule for the second time actually got sharper.

Thanked: 41Dave since you got it down so well, how about making a pill with your exact technique inside. I bet many of us would buy the pill and we too would have your kind of success.
