Default Help needed to determine what this hone is.

I was sent five razors and this razor hone a month ago. The razors and hone belonged to my Grandpa. I have a set of razor hones that I have purchased and am currently using. I was just wondering how one would use such a small hone. And also how you would use one with a concave shape. This hone has two different contours. The razor in the picture is also one of the razors from my Grandpa. The blade of the razor is actually longer than the hone and the hone is just slightly wider than two blade widths. I dont plan on using this but was just wanting some info from soneone.

That's not a straight razor hone; that's a double edged razor hone.
