Hey guys, I've been kicking around this site for a few months now and I've managed to procure several straights for my collecion. To my untrained thumb pad and face, my razors are pretty sharp. I've devised a system of 1500 grit sandpaper, an old barber hone, some plate glass and even newspaper to search for the perfect edge. I belive that one of my razors is there, but need a good control razor for where my blades should be.

Here's where a good honemiester comes in. I am willing to pay for a professional level sharpening that can show me what the benchmark for a super keen edge is. Would anyone be interested in sharpening one of my blades for a fee? I am willing to pay shipping in both directions as well as 25 dollars for the hone time. I would prefer someone close to the Boston area, and someone who knows his way around a hone.
