Default Freshing up the edge after poor stropping!

Hi all . A bit of a newbe question . If any one has read my thread FIRST SHAVE in the newbe section , you might have read that i might have rolled the edge or blunt the edge threw poor stropping. Well my question is i have a natural 12k chinese water stone , would 50 to 100 passes on that be ideal to fresh'n up my razor ?

My first step would be to see if some quality stropping can fix it. Try a hundred or so very light laps on the linen and see if it comes back. IME quite often often the edge doesn't actually need honing after an incident like this unless it's so bad that you can see the damage under a microscope.
