    Default vintage razor raven hone

    any one heard of this hone i'm thinking of bidding on it but not sure if it wiil be a good hone.

    I've wanted one for at least 6 years now! Always got out bid though.
    Can't tell you anything about them though.

    would this type of hone be used as normal with 4 to say 6 strokes for maintaining my edge

    I remember seeing the instructions on one auction "4 to 6 strokes" or something like that it said.

    NO it won't this is not fast cutting hone. i had couple of them.if you are looking the stone which will need 4-6 strokes made edge shave ready you must look for barber hones which is double side.hope this helps.

    This will close to swaty even a little courser then 3 line swaty
