The barber hone is an Apart. The name is flanked by "rock picks". The leftmost "rock pick" has 2 lower commas behind it and it can look like an "L".

The Apart is equal to any Swaty (or better, IMO), and I think mine cuts a bit faster than a Swaty.

    Great finds, enjoy.

I agree with "Sticky". That is an Apart hone. Made in Austria.
Mine are finer than any Swaty or any other Barber hone I have seen.
You have 2 of the finest vintage hones available.

    +1
In my experience, when honing on Belgian naturals, once the bevel is set, the lighter the touch, the sharper the edge.

Knowing nothing about barber hones do you hone on the stamp side or the other side?

Maybe fill the diagonal cut with superglue (Hot Stuff CA) and lap it flat for a full 8" of BBW?

Either side. The Swaty instruction sheets imply that their stamped side is finer; they seem the same to me. My Apart is the same on both IMO.

With combination hones; the "down", or non-stamped side, is most often the coarse grit side.

Here is a picture of the Apart instructions on the box:
