Thanked: 1262I have used it on 2 razors that just needed a little touchup and got good results.
I know people hate the slow cutting of them, but for $20 its hard to beat.

They cut a lot faster with a slurry, but i haven't used mine enough to know if that same slurry inhibits it's abilities to refine the edge. I know i like my coticule far more without the slurry.

Thanked: 286I do like to use a slurry i like the feeling it gives but people say slurry does'nt give a realy fine egde and can dull edge slightly i have found that to be the case when i used to thick a slurry but not when i have kept slurry realy misty very white watery .

My most recent progression produced a tremendous edge. Silky smooth shaving and still felt nearly BBS at 5pm.
Yellow cot with medium slurry (75laps) - BBW with medium slurry (75laps) - CH12K with light slurry (75laps) - CH12K with just water (50laps) - CH12K dry (25laps) - 60 laps on leather

Yes, it wasn't shaving that bad but it needed a touch-up. I probably overkilled it a little but it is shaving even better than it was before.
For touch-ups, I have used the CH12K slurry - CH12K wet - CH12K dry progression with good results too.
There are so many possibilites to get great edges. I like to try different things and see what happens.
