The label on my light green came off. I put it in the box intact so it wouldn't get lost. It doesn't matter as long as you want to keep the hone and use it. OTOH, I am on the downside of the hill and I can't take any of this stuff with me when I go. If it hits ebay during the estate sale I want it to bring as much as possible for my heirs. Hope it won't be for a very long time.

    The exact dimensions are : 1 1/8 x 11/16 x 6

And am I correct in assuming that this is a water stone, and oil should be kept far away?

Ah, there's the rub, Jimmy; it's kind of crazy that after all these eons, no one has yet figured out how we can take all our crap with us when we go. It's one of the things I've used to keep myself in check through the years. I don't have a ton of possessions, but I have on the occasions when I feel I'm getting too attached to things is to remind myself that I can't take any of them with me when I die. I hope no one takes the following as me being on a high horse or anything because I don't think I'm any better than the next guy, but....I do have pity for those I see or hear about that are controlled by their possessions (wealth, real estate, power, etc). I digress.

One could always ask for a few small stones to be thrown into the casket - the pallbearers probably wouldn't even notice, especially were it done just before the lid was snapped shut.

I put a cigar in my uncle's coat pocket during his wake. I figured that he'd at least appreciate the thought because he could always chew it if he ended up in a no smoking zone.
