    i now have to full hollow dovos 5/8 i find out of my 20 or so razors they seem to be the easiest to hone and are probably my sharpest shavers for some reason any one else found the same thing ones a prima clang is this normaly the case wiyh fullhollows

    I got it wrong prima is extra full hollow ground that is why it sound differant looks similar they both have very thin bevel kind of invisable but they shave real good compard to my more visable bevels.

    The bevel has nothing to do with it. The more hollow ground the blade the thinner and more flexible the very edge. That's why wedges are a bear to hone. They are so thick. The hollows are easier because the metal is thinner. There are some exceptions, some harder metals and some heavier frame razors but they are rare and actually many of them are part hollows.
