Default Touch up technique with BB/coticule

    Hi,
Question on touch up technique with coticules--
If I just need to touch up a previous well performning blade and I have a BB and a Yellow C, would I need any slurry, or just start with BB + water then move to Yellow C + water for a polish? Let me know what you think,

    Chief

There was a very recent discussion of this topic here. Basically, I think you should try to sneak up on it and see how little you can get away with. That is, start with just water on the coticule and see if that is sufficient. If not, then go back to a more aggressive honing level, be it the bbw or a light slurry on the coticule. It really depend on the state of your razor and the character of your coticule.
