If I may ask, who is Sham?
Does he have a store where I can check out some stones? I'm thinking about making my first foray into honing soon.
Thanks!

Sham is a member here, hi_bud_gl. He has a LOT of stones it seems, check out his honing videos http://straightrazorpalace.com/gener...ing-video.html and he says that what you see is less than half of all the stones he has!! I bought my yellow/green escher from him a while ago and I see a lot of stones sold by him in the classifieds.

Good choice! My only problem with the Belgians is that they removed the challenges of unpredictability from my honing. They simply work every single time as expected.

Not only are they great hones, I find them beautiful to boot. Especially the blues.
I lucked out so to speak and decided to go the coticule route instead of the Norton.
To be honest you really only need one good coticule. It sounds like you found it so I would just stop trying to obtain more of them.
I'm currently trying to help out all you HADdicts buy buying as many of the coticules as I can afford. You should be thanking me.
