    sorry for the blue hue. Its due to a stronger LED but the microscope is still terrible.

    Looks like you really have something worthwhile there. Nice work on the flattening and thanks for the close ups.

    Been honing all weekend and of course finishing every blade with this hone.

    So far a Solingen Silver Steel was the most grateful as far as feedback and HHT.

    Two Thiers have an incredibly smooth edge now but feedback was low.

    Two Eskilstunas went very well. (A. Hellberg and Heljestrand) Same as the Thiers, very silent.

    One Sheffield was a hard case.
    Possibly I was too lazy on the lower grit hones. But now its fine

    Mostly the ERN (C&S) tricked me actually. I had to CrOx strop this one.

    All I can say now is that it seems to work best with hollow grounds
    and those blades should be very gentle to the skin.
    When I strop on my palm it feels like nothing at all.
