I have an 800 grit japanese stone by King co. and am wanting to know the consensus of you pros and near pros on how to lap this thing.

Also, I have a razor {Torrey} with a pinhead size chip in the center of the blade and am wondering if this stone will be ample to cut it out? Also have Norton 4000/8000, and a barber hone.
