My first hone
Hey guys,
I just got my norton 4k/8k waterstone and i wanted to know if i was honing my razor right. Here is my video and please let me know if i am doing it correct. Thanks

The stroke looks nice and even. You may want to try to incorporate a little X into the stroke, but if this is working for you, not a have to. The other thing is that the new Norton 4K side still sounds a little grainy. Have you lapped it yet?? I really believe you need to take the new ones down about 1/8 inch to get past the granular feeling.
