Thanked: 52Lapping a Naniwa Super Stone
I recently purchased a Naniwa Super Stone 12k but have not used it. It is in the plastic base. Just wondering how wet it should be to lap it. I am going to use sand paper and a granite tile for lapping. Should i just spray a little water, lap it dry, put a big puddle on the sand paper?

The stone should be wet while lapping it. Just keep it wet and you'll be fine.

Yeah soaking is not a good idea since SuperStones use a resin binder which can swell and get mushy.
