After incorrect use of a razor...
Yesterday I got a nasty cut on my finger while shaving with my Dovo. You can read the whole story here if you have any interest in gore stories: http://straightrazorpalace.com/shavi...ad-happen.html
The cut was as deep as a finger cut can be and I felt the razor touching the bone. Now, my doubt is this: could I have ruined the edge? Do you suppose I need to get it honed by a pro or something along the lines of a touch-up on a barber hone and some diligent stropping will do the trick? I have no idea as to the real condition of the blade. However, I am sure that I didn't drop it or knock it on anything so there are no nicks on the blade that could have resulted from such contact. However, bones are quite tough and razor edges are not as tough as bones...
The reason why I ask this is that I have virtualy no experience in what regards evaluating the condition of an edge or honing one to shave readyness.
Thanks!

Thanked: 402That razor can be happy you're more concerned about her than you are for your own bone!
Seriously, I guess when you strop it now and it will leave streaks on your strop its time to do something hone like.
