Where can i get a good hand held microscope from any sugestions. One with light atached to it

Thanked: 13Not sure where you are based, but if it's in the UK, Maplins do a nice cheap, handheld microscope with an LED at the front. Cost me about £5.

got mine at a rummage sale for $1
it had brine shrimp on one lens but who cares for $1 (q-tip)
I just use a hand held led flashlight

Thanked: 84Just got one (literaly) from Maplins £5.99 lumagny 100x led microscope.
Don't know why we are making all this fuss about cutting hairs, they are huge like big telegraph poles they are
I can't wait to hone something up and take pictures of the different scratch paterns
I'm going to make a little stand out of blue-tac and a pencil to hold it still while a take pictures with my camera-phone.
Yes, I am a big kid.
I'm not going to show it to daughter No1, I'll never see it again.
