Edit; The third pic with the three Eschers is a blue/green, light green and dark blue.
The fourth pic is the one I should have posted with the yellow/green on the right.
Can you still read the label on the Salamander box? If so, could you please let me know what it says.

It took two of us, and I had to tape two A4 size sheets of wet'n'dry together.

Here is my favorite 8X3 Belgian combo stone, manganese lines and all. Works extremely well. And then, a mystery hone. It is harder than the coticule, has no grain, is a butter amber color, and puts an even sharper edge on a razor than the coticule. It is 7 X 1 3/4 X 15/16. It is as hard as translucent Arkansas, or maybe even harder. Any idea of what it might be?

I'm afraid much of it is obscure. Here is a thread with some close ups of the label. When I first got it I posted to see if anyone knew the Salamander mfg but no luck at that time. Originally Posted by A_S
