    Default Close Call!

I don't know if you noticed, but I had a couple of ads in the hone section yesterday.... I had been examining my growing collection when I deamed a couple of them to be unnecessary. I was at my girlfriend's last night, and today when I got home a package from Howard arrived. I got another coticule (this will be #3). That's when it hit me, I DON'T WANT TO SELL NATURAL HONES! I was about to sell a vintage coticule/BBW+slurry stone and a little Celebrate Water Razor Hone (thuringian). I already sold a nice Swaty hone, but I have no remorse over that since it's not a natural. :-P

I'm sorry to anyone who was considering buying them.

Although I really don't NEED them, they sure do look sexy as hell beside each other. The idea of getting extra money is indeed nice, but when it comes to natural hones, I realized that you can't replace them. I'm glad that I came to my senses and deleted the ads before they sold. When I was checking to see if they were sold I was PRAYING they hadn't yet (of course I would still mail it if it had).

I just wanted to share my story....Natural stones are gorgeous, hold on to them. I'm glad that I didn't sell them, or else I would surely have sellers remorse.

Did you actually realize that hone drawers are prone to shrinkage?

No, but my shelf doesn't seem to hold as much as it used to.

    You've got three.
That constitutes the beginnings of a stack.

Ron, knock it off, I can't look at that stack of coticules any longer.

Man, I was this close to pulling the trigger on the coticule this morning. Fortunately for you, I opened my mail (bills) first!
