Thread: Attention to toe

I am honing a straight red imp tonight without a smile. I have been using the rolling x. I have gradually moved from the 1k to the 4k. I am popping leg hairs at the heel all the way to the middle. The toe is just not satisfying for me. It randomly cuts. According to the wiki, I can perform a swooping stroke. I do not want to just focus on the toe and neglect the other parts of the razor. I do not want to progress any further in grit until this is solved. What have you guys done in the past?

nevermind....I used circular strokes for the first time and worked.
