    Default clipper oil

    Just making sure is it ok to use clipper oil on blades to preserve from rusting i find i get little pits on bevel even though i dry them well. Any advice on what is best to use and where i can get it from in the uk?

    Clipper oil is made for lubrication of electric clippers more than a rust preventative. There are really many oils you can use on a straight its just that when you use the straight you'll never get all the oil off and you'll have some on your face so you want to be careful. I'm sure guys will come along with their favorites. I use Sterol which Dovo makes. Sentry solutions makes a lube-preventative too.
