Made a purchase of a hone from ChrisL. It arrived in it's original 1900's box which needed some tending. I realise some may have said leave well enough alone but I reglued and clamped the joinery and refinished the sad looking exterior. A fine sanding and high gloss varnish really brought out the old stains and such. It's a fine looking package now. Chris suggested I post it here when done. Now... I just await the arrival of the razor so I can get on with the rest of the process!
