Disposable Razor Blade Edge Sharpener Rejuvenator Pad
Hey folks,
Newb here...been reading through the forums for a few hours now (wow....I'm tired!) Just doing a little research. I came across a product which strikes me as being a complete rip-off and wanted some of your feedback on it just for my own knowledge (have no intention of buying it). I figured in the world of straight razors, honing and stropping, this would be the official source, or failing that, the closest thing to it.
Anyways, the product I'm referring to is the "Disposable Razor Blade Edge Sharpener Rejuvenator Pad".
I couldn't find any threads on this particular product in this forum nor could I find any product reviews online, and was wondering if anybody here has actually tried it and/or what your thoughts are on this product.

I have never tried anything like that, but I see a few problems with it...
First, on the multi-blade safety razors, there is always a side guard on them, this keeps you from cutting yourself on the blade's edge if you're not careful....but, it also would keep the edges of the blade from touching flat on any type of hard backed hone.
Second, let's say this is more like a loaded cushioned strop instead of a hone, which could easily overcome the first problem with it's surface give....this would still have problems since you would only be able to run the blade over the strop in 1 direction since the blades are locked into a frame.....this would tend to leave a nasty burr on the inside edge of the blade giving you a terribly uncomfortable shave.
Now, I'm sure it is possible that I am missing something or misreading circumstances, and that it could work on some types of razors, but I am extremely skeptical of ANYTHING that says it works universally for ANY safety razor...
Again, I have not tried it but that is my take on that type of device.

Thanks for your feedback.
I figured it was some sorta scam or whatever. But I'm sure if he's selling it, someone's buying it.

Thanked: 27You have to remove the individual blades out to sharpen them, because of the angles.
